mount san jacinto - october 25, 2017

This was the fourth climb that I completed of southern california's "six pack of peaks" in preparation for my summit of mount whitney in september 2018.  it was an 11.5-mile round trip hike, to the summit of mount san jacinto (elevation 10,834'), consisting of a hiking elevation gain of 4,689'.  From the peak, the views to the east (Palm springs) and west (to the pacific) were amazing.
