Pacific crest trail, Section a segment 7 - december 2, 2021

This was my seventh segment of california's section a of the pacific crest trail.  section a starts in campo, ca (on the mexican border) and traverses north for 109.5 miles to warner springs, CA.  my goal was to complete Section a in a series of 14 day hikes.  This seventh segment (from burnt rancheria campground to the storm canyon overlook [near mount laguna campground]) WAS 7 miles (one way) AND 14 miles ROUND TRIP with about 1,200 feet of ascent.  I completed the hike in 4 hours 15 minutes. At this point, i had completed the first 47.5 miles of Section a (in 98.1 miles of hiking).  This was probably the most picturesque segment of section a since i started at the mexican border.  the desert views, looking east from the pct, were spectacular!
