Pacific crest trail, Section a segment 4 - may 6, 2021

This was my fourth segment of california's section a of the pacific crest trail.  section a starts in campo, ca (on the mexican border) and traverses north for 109.5 miles to warner springs, CA.  my goal was to complete Section a in a series of 14 day hikes.  This fourth segment (from lake morena campground north to boulder oaks campground) WAS 6 miles (one way) AND 12.1 miles ROUND TRIP.  I completed the hike in 3 hours 45 minutes. At this point, i had completed the first 26 miles of Section a (in 52 miles of hiking).  There was not a significant amount of climbing involved in this segment, but there were some beautiful valley trail views, wildflowers, and the occasional harmless snake!
