Pacific crest trail, Section a segment 6 - november 18, 2021

This was my sixth segment of california's section a of the pacific crest trail.  section a starts in campo, ca (on the mexican border) and traverses north for 109.5 miles to warner springs, CA.  my goal was to complete Section a in a series of 14 day hikes.  This sixth segment (from cibetts flat campground to Burnt Rancheria campground trailhead) WAS 9.7 miles (one way) AND 19.4 miles ROUND TRIP with about 2,500 feet of ascent.  I completed the hike in 6 hours 20 minutes. At this point, i had completed the first 41.5 miles of Section a (in 84.1 miles of hiking).  november is a great month to hike the pct--perfect weather and virtually abandoned!
