acadia national park, cadillac mountain/gorge hike - august 7, 2016

During the summer of 2016, I explored most of gorgeous acadia National Park via weekly hikes.  This was hike 5 of 6 on the cadillac mountain and gorge trails.  This was the second time that my youngest daughter and i had climbed cadillac mountain (previously on august 12, 2013 when she was just shy of 6 years old).  This time around, the hike was significantly more difficult, however, due to the fact that we descended via the gorge trail and walked the distance into the town of bar harbor.  her well-deserved reward, at the destination, was ice cream in bar harbor!
