Pacific crest trail, Section a segment 3 - april 20, 2021

This was my third segment of california's section a of the pacific crest trail.  section a starts in campo, ca (on the mexican border) and traverses north for 109.5 miles to warner springs, CA.  my goal was to complete Section a in a series of 14 day hikes.  This Third segment (from lake morena campground south to HAUSER CREEK) WAS 4.5 miles (one way) AND 9.1 miles ROUND TRIP.  I completed the hike in a little over 3 hours. At this point, i had completed the first 20 miles of Section a (in 40 miles of hiking).  One of the most interesting things about my pct journey is meeting and talking to the 'thru-hikers" (mexico to canada) when our paths cross.  They tend to be great people and quite a different breed from "weekend warrior" hikers.
